On April 16, 2019, Governor Jared Polis signed into law HB19-1086, Plumbing Inspections Insure Compliance. This law implements new rules, effective January 1, 2020, on plumbing inspections and contemporaneous reviews of plumbing projects in Colorado. It also modifies renewal and reinstatement requirements for plumber licenses to include a minimum of 8 hours of continuing education per year. The Plumbing Board will adopt new rules for continuing education requirements and standards by July 1, 2020.

Nathan Batchelder from the Department of Regulatory Affairs (DORA), and Elisabeth Rosen, PHCC Lobbyist, will speak to how these new rules will affect you, your business and your employees. Don’t be caught off guard, get prepared for these changes coming soon.

Attend this breakfast event to ask questions and provide feedback to PHCC Colorado as we participate in the rule-making process to determine what will be required of you in the new rules.
