PHCPPros, Advocacy USA LLC and ACCA will host a national Town Hall Meeting with Congressman Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) and former president of Mullin Plumbing, on June 10 at 12:30 a.m., EST.

Rep. Mullin will discuss national infrastructure issues and how federal legislation could impact the skilled trades. This event is open to PHCP contractors, specifiers and distributors.

Rep. Mullin was first elected to serve the people of Oklahoma’s Second Congressional District in November 2012. He is currently serving his fifth term in office. The Congressman left college at age 20 to take over the family business after his father became ill. Today, Mullin Plumbing is one of the largest service companies in the region.

Mullin and his wife Christie have also started other businesses, which employ hundreds of employees across the state. As one of the few business owners in Congress (and the only one to run a plumbing business), Rep. Mullin brings a business perspective into the national debate on many issues directly impacting small businesses.

Rep. Mullin currently serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee including the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, Subcommittee on Health, and on Environment and Climate Change. Rep. Mullin also serves on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Additionally, he is a member of a number of caucuses, and is a co-chair of the House Energy Action Team (HEAT) and the Innovation Caucus.
